Liu Dao 六岛 created by Island6 Arts Center, in Shanghai, under the direction
|

of Thomas Charvériat and Zan Mellupe, is a collective of artists, passionate

| |
about technology and creativity.
|
| |
|
|
|
Liu Dao included painters, sculptors, photographers, dancers, digital imaging artists,
|
| |
performance artists, curators, writers, with different nationalities.
|
| |
|
|
|
Liu Dao artworks are collective and performed on the site.
|
|
|
They result from the interaction Chinese traditional techniques ( paper-cutting,
|
|
|
calligraphy, sculpture ) and from contemporary technologies ( video, L.E.D., neon ).
