Wei Dong 魏东 was born in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia China.

The family moved to Wuhan where his father was stationed. |

1985
|
He studied at the Beijing Academy of Art and Crafts, for two years.

|
|
|
|
1987
|
He continued his Art sudies at the Beijing Normal Institute. ( Fine Arts Department )
|

|
|
1991
|
He graduated with a ( B.F.A. ) from the Beijing Normal Institute.

| |
|
|
1998
|
First solo exhibition : The Age of Innocence Plum Blossom Galleries in Hong Kong
|

and in Singapore.

He took part to the Collective exhibition Paris- Pékin, Espace Cardin in Paris France. |
