Chen Meitsen 陳美岑 was born in Taipei Taiwan.

1985

She studied for five years at the National Institute of Art in Taipei.

1990

First solo exhibition at the I-T Park Gallery in Taipei.

1991

She arrived in France and enrolled at the National School of Arts

in Cergy Pontoise where she stayed for two years.

1993

She entered for two years the film school of Paris :

		en apesanteur dans ce noir profond, affamé, végétarien.
		Et parmi tous ces astres, planètes, astéroïdes, qui peuplent notre ciel,
		l'oeil s'égare. Cherche cette terre qui doit ressembler à une patate (douce).
		Evolution, révolution. Glaise, homme, glaise. Minéral, animal, aminé.
		L'oeuvre de Mei-Tsen est en perpétuel glissement du minéral au végétal.
