Human
curiosities abound for things that are unobvious. I
found myself in a constant state

of searching for meanings of
painting. It seems to me, if the subject of a picture reflects

a
thought the techniques that a painter uses reflect an approach. Simple
techniques

| |
executed with simple tools fit my thoughts and habits. The
layering of my work is often
|
|
| |
a result of prolonged examination of an
idea which gets modified and refined as layers
|
|
| |
are added with
familiar tools. My aim is a final result that is immediately pure and
complete
|
|
| |
with underlying complexity, whether it is figurative or
abstract.
